Cat Erratic Records began in 2004 when The Histrioniks recorded their debut album, "Homesick From The Grave". The band began as a duo with Cat Levy on vocals and Larry Levy on Acoustic Guitar. With their second album, "About This Girl", The Histrioniks added Dave Powers on bass. Powers played on their third album, "Thin" and on their4th and most current album, "Camouflage Baby".
In 2009, Larry along with Dave Powers and Bongo LaHair formed The Thromboes. Their debut album, "She's Like a British Car" was the second band to appear on the Cat Erratic record label. Also, in 2009, Larry added "One Hand Strumming" a solo work for electric guitar to the Cat Erratic Library.
In 2011, Cat Erratic signed Muskrat Simms to the label. Hound-Dawg music as Muskrat refers to his compositions.. Also due out in 2011 is another instrumental offering by Instrumentaclees. Low-Fi rock 'n roll surf compositions with guitars, drums and usually sans bass.
